RMC Australia’s Remotely Operated Vehicle ROV technology and Commercial shipping experience enables us to efficiently inspect ships hulls, Super yacht hulls , Tug Boat Hulls and Underwater infrastructure without the need to dry dock or slip the vessel or deploy dive teams.
Our ROVs can provide instantaneous HD footage via the ROV’s cameras to the pilots Integrated Control Console (ICC) on deck. Unlike the commercial diver, our ROVs have unlimited bottom time and are less effected by current and surge.
Utilising the ROVs also eliminates the work health and safety (WH&S) issues that can occur to personnel inspecting hulls and infrastructure in busy ports and terminals.
The ROV can hold position on a target allowing the pilot, surveyor, assessor, Technician or client to carry out real time detailed inspections at points of interest. Rudder stock, Propellor Shafts, anodes, props, Bow and Stern Thrusters and hull inspections can all be carried out safely and efficiently while the ship lies at dock or at anchor without the use of commercial divers.
Working closely with Australia’s leading Electrolysis and Galvanic Experts our ROV service can save the client thousands with Routine maintenance inspections of there assets Anode systems and underwater components without physically dry docking the vessel or deploying divers.
Rapid Mobilisation Techniques can have our ROV’s onboard working anywhere in Australia when and where required following a collision or Accident to provide peace of mind to the client with a safe visual inspection prior to continuing the voyage or proceeding with the operation or task at hand, Eliminating Costly down time awaiting dry docking.
Our ROV footage can also be recorded upon request to provide documentation to our client or experts at the time of inspection for insurance or repair work that may need to be carried out.
