Gearing up for the dive Peppermint Bay Wharf Tasmania
Dressing Diver [Pat] Peppermint Bay Tasmania
On a “beautiful” Rainy Sunday at Peppermint Bay 25min south of Hobart, Myself, Great mate Simon Lessels and My Dad set up the dive site at peppermint bay wharf.
My Dad and Simons Daughter Clare where in control of the air uptop and myself and Simon where hitting the water, i was Diving Lessels’ Desco MarkV helmet and suit and Simon was diving the US Navy Vintage Twin hose Aqualung Min Mag air set and Australian Navy Rubber Fenzy, once we got the site ready and divers dressed we entered the water to be greeted by the Southern Ocean current and a balmy water temp of 10degrees, Vis was approx 5Meters.
To make things even better I came out of the suit perfectly dry thanks to the aid of some simple cuff rings which Simon had just sourced from china.
The Dive was an amazing experiance and definently something I will be doing alot more of in the future.
I would like to Thank Simon for such an awesome experience.
